Food Assistance During the Government Shutdown
Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Image Los Angeles County has a network of 940 food pantries in place, coordinated by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Food is available now for anyone who needs it, and supplies will increase for the month of November. For food assistance, residents can visit their local food pantry or find one near them by visiting Locate a Partner Agency or calling 2-1-1. The federal government shutdown is affecting our communities. To support, LA County Parks is leaning in to expand capacity to its Food Programs at Parks! LA County Parks provides the following food safety net services programs for youth, teens, and seniors.
