At the CWC, we believe healing begins when conversations become safe & accessible while being rooted in community. Too many people still suffer in silence because of the stigma surrounding mental health, especially in Black and Brown communities, where seeking support has often been misunderstood or out of reach.
That is why we created the Compton Community Wellness Expo! This is a space where wellness feels connected to community. This year we are taking over the Douglas Dollarhide Center in Compton. Think backyard cookout vibes... but make it healing.

We are coming together to normalize conversations about mental health, connect with resources, experience healing-centered activities, and remind one another that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Healing happens in community, and we would love for you to be part of it!
