The LARCA Government Education & Engagement Roundtable Goal
To serve as a virtual, one-hour monthly educational forum for LARCA Members-owners and operators of State-licensed Adult Residential Facilities (ARFs) and Residential Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs), to engage with policymakers from local, state and federal governmental agencies who have jurisdiction over policies, programs and funding of State-licensed ARFs and RCFEs. State-licensed ARFs and RCFEs are regulated and funded by various levels of governments, and are in a unique category as providers of housing, mental health, nutrition, whole-person care and wellness to low-income adults who are living with a serious mental illness and / or a co-occurring disorder. This monthly government education and engagement roundtable will assist in improving communication, care coordination and relations among policymakers and State-licensed owners and operators of ARFs and RCFEs.
